She was born September 19, 1932 in Lawrence County, OH to the late Stirl Johns Johnson and the late Lulie Sprouse. She was a homemaker and the widow of A.J. Willi Willis, who died January 4, 1996. Survivors include daughter, Sharon Umpleby of Sparks; three sons, Eddie Jones, Scot Scott Willis and George Willis, all of West Berrien; sister, Freida Prothe of Seaf Seaford, Del; brother, Stirl Johnson, Jr. of Crownsville, MD; 10 grandchildren and and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dolorese Boss Bossier. Funeral services were held Feb. 8 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Hom Home with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. Songs on CD included "Amazing Gra Grace" and "Just a Closer Walk With Thee." Interment was in Lenox City Cemetery. Pallbearers were James Willis, Austin Willis, Michael Jones, Albert Umpleby, J J.R. Umpleby, Chris Callahan. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
