Willis, Jr., 56, of Nashville died August 16, 2007 at his residence. Born in Winter Haven, FL, to Ellen Carpenter Willis of Nashville and the late Alton Theodore Willis, Sr., he was a policeman in Valdosta for one year, a firefighter and paramedic in Pinellas County, FL, for ten years, and a missionary with Life Line Ministries for three years. He served on the board of Burning Bush Ministries and at Camp Tygart maintaining the camp. He was employed at MSI in Tifton as a customer service representative and safety training coordinator for eight years. He was a graduate of Berrien High School and attended Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College and Norman College. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Mary Ann Willis, two daughters and sons-in-law, Samantha and Jason Kelley of Clearwater, FL and Dee and Jeff Register of Nashville; two granddaughters, Kayla McLain and Lindsey Register; mother-in-law, Florence Joseph of Lake City, FL, sister-in-law, Dianne Simmons of Lake City; nieces, Wanda Moulton, and nephew, Don Wilson, both of Lake City. Funeral services were held August 19 at 3 p.m. at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Music Funeral Services of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements.
