Charles A. Wilson, 80, of Ray City died Sept. 7, 2007 at his residence.
 Born in Ware County, he had live in Ray City most of his life. He was a 
paving supervisor at Moody Air Force Base for over 30 years and was a member 
of Ray City United Methodist Church.
 Survivors include his wife, Mary Nell Herring Wilson of Ray City; a son and 
daughter in law, Deriel and Diane Wilson of Ray City; grandson, Michael Wilson 
of Valdosta, great grandsons, Austin and Dalton Wilson of Valdosta of 
Valdosta; sister, Iris Farlene Manning of Ray City; brother in law  and sister 
in law, Edgar and Elizabeth Herring of Valdosta; sister in law, Edna Ray of 
Nashville; several nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services were held Sept. 9 at 2 p.m. at Ray City United Methodist 
Church.
 Interment was in Beaver Dam Cemetery.
 Music Funeral Services of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements.
