 Elbert Lee “Bert” Wood, 44, of Enigma died July 21, 2013 at his residence.
 He was born March 3, 1969 in Tift County to Patricia Gray Wirebaugh of Enigma 
and the late Henry Elbert Wood. He was a truck driver for K&B Trucking Company 
in Enigma and Adel. He was a hard worker who enjoyed operating big equipment 
and eating his wife’s cooking. He was known as “A Family Fan” because his f
family was the joy and love of his life.
 He is survived by his wife, Christy Rhnea Baker Wood of Enigma; mother and 
stepfather, Patricia and Chuck Wirebaugh of Enigma; daughter, Christy Leeann 
Wood of Enigma; sisters and brother-in-law, Lynn and Jay Herebia of Enigma and 
Michelle Cooper of Adel; half-brother, Wayne Wood of Ft. Wayne, IN; half-sister,
Cheri Wood of New Haven, IN; father
sister, Cheri Wood of New Haven, IN; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lendon and
and Debra Baker of Enigma; several nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on July 24 at Mt. Zion Holiness Baptist Ch
Church with Rev. Silas Carver officiating.
 Interment was in Giddens Serenity Cemetery. 
 Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors was in charge of arrangements.
