 Faye Sirmans Gaither Zipperer, 70, died April 6, 2005 at South Georgia Medical 
Center in Valdosta.

 Born October 10, 1934 in Berrien County to the late Charlie and Clyide Moore 
Sirmans, she was a retired bookkeeper and member of Southland Church. She was a 
volunteer for Hospice, the Humane Society, and the Southland Church Food 
Pantry. She was married to the late James Zipperer.

 Survivors include son, Chris Gaither of Nashville; three daughters, Dawn 
Rocheleau and Sharon Knea, both of Valdosta, Darlene Dedge of Naylor; one 
sister, Charlene Brantley of Valdosta; one brother, Charles Sirmans, Sr,; 11 
grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held April 9 at 11 a.m. at McLane Riverview Mausoleum 
Chapel with the Revs. Lee Barnes and Doug Griner officiating.

 Interment followed in the mausoleum.

 Carson McLane Funeral Home of Valdosta was in charge of arrangements.
