A, 151st Machine Gun Batty., 42nd Rainbow Division) Jan 9, 1896 to Feb. 11, 1974 Son of James Russell Hudson and Delilah Becham Hudson who are buried at Society Hill Bapt. Ch., Crawford Co. GA. Bertha Mae Aultman Hudson (wife of Cauley C. Hudson) Oct. 9, 1892 to Jan 14, 1974 (She was the daughter of James K. Polk Aultman and Alice Thames Aultman, who are buried in unmarked graves at Little Union Prim Bapt. Ch. in Crawford Co.) NOTE:She married Cawley Clinton Hudson on Saturday, 6 December 1919 when she was 25. They had written each other during the time he was serving in WWI. Those letters exist among relatives today. Cawley & Bertha were married 54 years and 39 days ending in Bertha's death from complications of a "stroke". Bertha died @ 12:15 @ Medical Center Of Georgia. She was buried 16 Jan 1974 to the left of her only son James Clinton Hudson. Clinton died @ 14 from pneumonia. On 11 February 1974 Cawley was overcome with the grief of Bertha's death and took his own life with a gunshot wound to the head. Carol Anita RUCKS James Clinton Hudson, Oct. 6, 1920 to July 8, 1935, only child of Cauley and Bertha A. Hudson. Elizabeth Louise "Lizzie" (Aultman) Fulwood, Nov 8, 1878 to Feb. 1, 1963 Wife of Henry F. Fulwood. She was the daughter of James K. Polk Aultman and Alice Thames Aultman. Henry Franklin Fulwood, July 5, 1876 to Feb. 10, 1950, husband of Lizzie Aultman. He owned the farm located across the road from and adjacent to Sardis Cemetery. He and Lizzie had four sons (Luther, Morris, Clarence Claude, J. W.) and three daughters (Mattie, Lucy and Montez). Lucille Lillian (Averett) Becham, born about 1879, died Sept. 26, 1917. She was the wife of Charlie A. Becham and according to her obituary, she is buried at Sardis Ch. Cem. Her grave is apparently unmarked as I have been unable to locate it. Lucille and Charlie Becham had the following children: Willa Naomi, Susie C., William Albert, Louise, Lucile, Charlie Wallace and Doris Geneva. Charlie Becham remarried and is buried at Dixon UMC in Crawford Co. GA ==========Helen Hudson ==== J. A. Hammock, Feb 20, 1830 - May 17, 1895 Sarah Emerson; Apr 1833 - Dec 1909, wife of J. Alex. Hammock Martha Emerson Hammock is suppose to be buried in the same cemetery according to her obit.
