Rape CAROLINE B. THOMAS 65-m-b (Tony) 38 –f-b (Hester) 34-f-b 29-f-b 22-m-b (Robert) 18-m-b (Joe) 17-m-b 15-f-b (Kate) 15-m-b (Tony or Stepney) 12-f-b (Sally) 10-f-b (Mary) 12-f-b (Rachel) 10-f-b (Martha) 7-f-b (Ella) 7-m-b (Henry) 4-m-m 3-m-m 2-f-m- The people in Item 3 were March and his sister Rachel and Stepney. Their labor put Charles S. Thomas, son on Wm+Caroline through school. He later became the governor of Colorado. In the 1860 census March is listed under Roderick McLendon who was the husband of Harriett McArthur (the McArthurs’were the holders of my maternal ancestors). In the 1870 census (Series M593, Roll 136, Page 706) March is listed right after Daniel P. McArthur (son of John + Harriet Pace) with wife Hearty and children Eliza, Margret, Mattie, Ollie & Henry. This is the last record I have of March. Stepney was found in the 1880 census living in Dist. 520 Bibb and I have not been able to find Rachel yet. I believe their mother was Judy also listed in this will. She is living in the household of John Castellow in 1870. They are listed right after March + his family. Listed after the Castellows are the Ryders (Wm + Sarah). Sarah is the sister of Daniel P. McArthur.
