Full Title: AN ACT to authorise the commissioners
appointed to lay off the Town of Macon, to lay off
and set apart a suitable piece of ground in lieu of
the one set apart by the said commissioners, for the
use of the Methodist Episcopal Church, in the Town
of Macon.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of
Representatives of the State of Georgia in General
Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the
authority of the same, That the commissioners
appointed to lay off the town of Macon be, and they
are hereby required on their first meeting for the
purpose of selling or laying off [Illegible Text] in
said town, to lay off a suitable piece of ground for
the benefit of the Methodist Episcopal Church,
having due regard to quantity and locality, in lieu
of the one laid off by them heretofore.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the
commissioners appointed to lay off said town, do
execute a fee simple title for said piece of ground
to the trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Church,
at [Illegible Text] any thing to the contrary
notwithstanding.
