Broach, trustee for Martha D. Morris wife of Hardy Morris and her children of the one part and Mildred Odom, guardian for George W. Odom. Witnesseth that the said Robert M. Broach as trustee as aforesaid in accordance with and by permission of an order passed by the Honorable Superior Court of Bibb County in said State at the January term of said Court eighteen hundred and forty nine the Honorable John J. Floyd Judge of said Court presiding having date the eighteenth day of January eighteen hundred and forty nine for & in consideration of the sum of four hundred and eighty seven, 50/100 dollars, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold & by these presents doth grant bargain & sell unto the said Mildred Odom as guardian as aforesaid all that tract or parcel of land containing fifty four feet front on Bridge Street in the City of Macon in said County, running back on the ally one hundred and five feet across said lot it being a part of number two in square forty five in the plan of said City of Macon. To have and to hold to said bargained premises with all the rights, members & appurtenances thereto appertaining or belonging to the only proper use, benefit & behoof of the said George W. Odom in fee simple, and the said Robert M. Broach as trustee as aforesaid his heirs & executors & administrators the said bargained premises unto the said Mildred Odom as guardian as aforesaid her heirs & assigns against the said Robert M. Broach as trustee as aforesaid & against all & every other person or persons whatever will warrant and defend by these presents. In witness whereof the said Robert M. Broach hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day & year first above written. Kilpatrick Recorded February 10, 1849 FHC #0382008 Georgia Bibb County April 13, 1850 Know all men by these presents that I Rachel Broach of the County of Jones and State aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to me in hand paid and for the natural affection and love which I have for my daughter Martha D. Morris and in obedience to the request of my husband George Broach, dec’d, the father of said Martha D. Morris hath given granted sold and conveyed and by these presents doth give, grant, bargain and sell and convey unto Hamilton Broach his heirs and assigns a certain Negro girl slave by the name of Harriett about nine years old of copper complexion. To have and to hold to the said Hamilton Broach the said Negro girl slave forever. Upon the special trust and confidence and also for the sole and separate use of my said daughter Martha D. Morris during her natural life with full liberty and power to her to dispose of said Negro and her increase thereof by her last will and testament and in case the same is not disposed of by said Martha D. by her last will & testament, then and in that case from and at and immediately after the death of said Martha D. Morris to her children living at her death. And in case of any of her children be then dead, leaving children, the children to take in place of their deceased parent or parents as the case may be, and said trust hereby created to him cease and determine. Gramingless of Bibb for $225, North Easterly half of Lot #1, Square 74. Commencing at corner of 20’ alley on First St. & run southwesterly along First St. 105 ft. through said lot to dividing line between Lot 1 & 2 105 ft. there along said dividing line 105 to the ally and along alley 105 ft. the starting point. Wit: William T. Kilpatrick Alexander H. Broach W.F. Williford Trustee Recorded March 23, 1857 FHC #0382011 Book P, p. 1 March 24, 1857 Georgia, Bibb Co. Know all men by these presents that the Bibb County Loan Association for and in consideration of five dollars in hand paid by A. H. Broach, Trustee for Martha D. Morris do hereby release and relinquish all claims to the northeasterly half of lot No. one in square seventy four (Lot 1, square 74) as follows commencing the corner of the twenty foot ally and running along first street one hundred and five (105) thence through said lot to the dividing line between lot 1 & 2, thence along said dividing line to the ally and thence along said ally to the starting point . Said half lot containing one fourth of an acre more or less the whole of said lot number one, square seventy four (Lot 1, square 74 ) having been mortgaged to said association by said Broach, Trustee in her mortgage deeds viz one dated 26 September 1854 for fourteen hundred dollars, the other dated 25 February 1855 for fourteen hundred dollars to secure the payment of money advanced to said Broach, Trustee &C by said Bibb County Loan Association. In witness whereof said Bibb County Loan Association has caused this to be signed sealed & delivered by their treasury this twenty fourth day of March 1857. In presence of _B. Ross W.S. Lynn $800 for lot No. 7 in square 78 in City of Macon, which is now being occupied by said R.B. Lynn & family as a family residence containing half an acre. To have and to hold for the sole use of said Mrs. Eliza Lynn during her natural life and at her death to her children of her present marriage to the exclusion of her children by a former marriage to wit the children of Thomas J. Notes: Hardy Morris died January 6, 1857 William G.
