State Of Georgia, Bibb County.
	
	This Indenture, Made the  ~  day of January , in the year of Lord One 
Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty Four,  between Orren D. W. Carstarphen of the 
County of Bibb of the one part, and Joseph H Carstarphen of the County of Bibb, 
of the other part:  Witnesseth that the said Orren D. W. Carstarphen for and in 
consideration of the sum of Three Hundred dollars in hand paid at and before 
sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby 
acknowledged hath  granted, bargained, sold, aliened, conveyed and confirmed, 
and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, alien, convey and confirm unto 
the said Joseph H. Carstarphen		his	heirs and assigns, all

That tract or parcel of land situate lying & being in the County of Bibb & State 
of Georgia, & being twenty eight acres more or less in the thirteenth district 
of Bibb County being in South part of Lot # 308 in said Dist. & County as 
aforesaid, and all being in one body & lying adjoining the land Joseph H 
Carstarphen & bounded on the North by lands of Joseph H Carstarphen on the East 
by land of Estate of Asher Ayers on the South by lands of Est. Asher Ayers on 
the West by lands of T. J. Carstarphen


To Have and to Hold the said 	Orren D. W. Carstarphen
With all singular the rights members and appurtenance thereto appertaining, to 
the only proper use, benefit and behoof of Joseph H. Carstarphen his heirs, 
executors, administrators and assigns, in Fee Simple:  and the said Orren D. W. 
Carstarphen the said bargained property unto the said Joseph H Carstarphen 
heirs, executors, administrators and assigns against the said Orren D. W. 
Carstarphen, his heirs, executors and administrators, and against all and every 
other person or persons, shall and will warrant and forever defend, by virtue of 
these presents
	In Witness Whereof, The said Orren D. W. Carstarphen has hereunto set 
his hand, affixed his seal, and delivered these presents the day and year first 
above written.
