State Of Georgia, Bibb County.
	
	This Indenture, Made the  8th day of November , in the year of Lord One 
Thousand Eight Hundred and  Eighty Three 1883	,  between  Nancy S. Carstarphen 	 
of the County of Bibb of the one part, and  Anna B. Thomas		 of the 
County of Bibb, of the other part:  Witnesseth that the said Nancy S. 
Carstarphen		 for and in consideration of the sum of $500.00 five 
hundred dollars in hand paid at and before sealing and delivery of these 
presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath  granted, bargained, 
sold, aliened, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents do grant, bargain, 
sell, alien, convey and confirm unto the said  Anna B. Thomas, her 	heirs 
and assigns, all	that tract or parcel of - being a fractional part of Lot 
No 308 and bounded as follows: by lands of T. J. Carstarphen, W. S. Carstarphen, 
O. W. Carstarphen & William Evans Estate, and containing 80 acres, more or less.  
Situate lying & being 13th Dist. Originally Monroe, now Bibb.

To Have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land 	with all and singular 
the rights, members and appurtenances thereto appertaining, to the only proper 
use benefit and behoof of her, 	the said Anna B. Thomas, her heirs, executors, 
administrators and assigns in Fee Simple:  and the said Nancy S. Carstarphen the 
said bargained tract or parcel of land unto the said Anna B. Thomas, her heirs, 
executors, administrators and assigns, against the said Nancy S. Carstarphen, 
her executors and administrators, and against all and every other person or 
persons, shall and will warrant and forever defend, by virtue of these presents
In Witness Whereof, the said Nancy S. Carstarphen hath hereunto set her hand, 
affixed her seal, and delivered these presents the day and year first above 
written.
