Stubbs of the county of Bibb of the other part. Witness that the said Robert Lundy for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipts whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold aliened conveyed and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien convey and confirm unto the said Thomas P. Stubbs his heirs and assigns all of that certain tract or parcel of land on the Forsyth Road about three and a half miles from Macon purchased by me and conveyed to me by Deed by Sheriff of Bibb County known as the burnt place lying on the right hand side of the road from Macon to Forsyth. To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereby appertaining to the only proper use benefit and behoof of him the said Thomas P. Stubbs his heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee simple; and the said Robert Lundy the said bargained tract or parcel of land unto the said Thomas P. Stubbs his heirs executors administrators and assigns against the said Robert Lundy his executors and administrators shall and will warranty and forever defend the virtue of these presents. In witness whereof I have hereby set my hand and affixed my seal and delivered these presents the day and year first above written.
