Bibb County
This Indenture made the first (1) day of January in the
year of our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred & thirty nine
& in the year of the Independence of the United States of
America between Charles Collins of the County of Bibb of
the one part & John Martin of the County of Bibb of the
other part.

Witnesseth that the said Charles Collins for & in
consideration of the sum of five hundred Dollars in hand
paid at and before the sealing & delivery of these
presents the receipt  whereof is hereby acknowledged has
granted bargained Sold aliened conveyed & confirmed and
by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien Convey
confirm unto the said John Martin his heirs & assigns all
the right title to a certain lot of land Containing fifty
four (54) feet front on bridge Street in the City of
Macon running back on an alley one hundred & five feet
across said Lot A being part of lot number five (5) in
square number forty five (45) in said City.

To have & to hold the said lot or parcel of land with all
and singular the rights members & appurtenances thereof
whatsoever to the Said John Martin being belonging or in
any wise appertaining with the remainder & remainders
revision & reversions rents Issues & profits thereof to
the only proper use benefit & behoof of him the said John
Martin his heirs executors administrators and assigns in
fee simple And the said Charles Collins his heirs
executors & administrators the said bargained lot or
premises unto the said John Martin his heirs executors
administrators & assigns against the said Charles Collins
his heirs Executors & administrators and all and every
other person or persons shall & will warrant & forever
defend by virtue of these presents.

In witness whereof the said Charles Collins hath hereunto
set his hand & affixed his seal the day & year first
above written.
