Macon Telegraph And Messenger January 13, 1876
Handsome Liberality

Mr. G. B. Roberts has given his large hall, formerly used as a rink, to the 
Macon Guards and Macon Volunteers, Company B, to be used by them jointly as an 
armory.  The Guards have already moved in, and will hold their first meeting 
there to-night.  This is a very liberal act on the part of Mr. Roberts, and 
one that will be appreciated by the companies upon whom the benefit is 
conferred.
