A reward of 250 dollars if offered by the Governor for the Apprehension of Robert Thompson, for the Murder of Robert T. Gunn of MORGAN County--said Thompson is stout made, Corpulent, has light hair, blue eyes, about 5 feet 10 or 11 inches high, and 30 years old. Died on the 3rd in Clarke, County- ALFRED WASHINGTON WRIGHT Died in Monroe, Walton County on the 7th, Mr. ALEXANDER DYER, a native of Pedleton District SC. Died in Milledgeville 3d Mrs. PRISCILLA GRAY. Tuesday, November 7, 1826 We learn that a fire took place in Savannah, on Sunday Morning the 29th, which destroyed 3 dwellings and several outhouses, situated upon the South Common- One owned by Mr. I. K. TEFFT and the other 2 by Mr. F. M. STONE. Married in this County on Thursday evening, the 2d instant by the Reverend Mr. Stiles, MORTIMER R. WALLIS, Esq. to Miss Sarah ANN NORMAN -----In this town on Thursday Evening, the 2d instant MR. JEREMIAH SMITH, Merchant to Miss MILDRED BAILEY, both of this place. TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 1826 Married in Augusta on the 24th ultimo, by the Reverend Mr. Moderwell, Mr. GEORGE HILL, Merchant of that city to Miss ANN B. SIMS of Columbia County. --In Hancock County on the 2d instant by the Reverend D. Duffey, MAJOR WILLIAM P. TUESDAY NOVEMBER 21, 1826 On Saturday Night Last, the saw and Grist Mills of Mr. James Flewellen, on Tobesaurky, a small water course, about eight miles Hence were reduced to ashes. The fire we were told originated in the inadvertence of the slave that attended the Mills, and who was hired by his Master to work in the night. The loss is estimated at two thousand five hundred dollars, exclusive of Mr. FLEWELLEN'S books containing his Mill Books. Died, in Augusta, Ga. on the 11th ult. Mr. DAVID P. Mrs. Harriet Brewster, wife of William Brewster Jr., in the 27th year of her age. --In Jasper County, at the House of Capt. Herbert Avery on the 30th Sept. Jesse Avery age17 years. At the same house on the 5th of October, William Avery age 33. At the same house on the 7th of October, Elizabeth Walker age 7 years old. --On the 16th October, Lexington, Oglethorpe County, Martha Susan, Eldest daughter of John and Elizabeth Beasley in her 14th year of age. --In Wilkes County, on the 22d Sept. last, Mary Greene, daughter of D.G. Campbell, aged 5 years and 7 months, also Mary Ann McKenzie, his Neice in the 11th year of her age. --In Oglethorpe County, on the 16th Ult. Mrs. Sarah Stevens, Daughter of General John Stewart, and Consort of Mr. John M. Stevens. --In Jones County, on the 6th of October, Laura Dodd, Daughter of John L. Blackburn. --In Burke County, Ga. on the 15th ult. Mr. John Hayles, formerly of the well known firm of John Hayles & Co. of Augusta, in the thirty-eighth year of his age. --In Warren County, on the 12th ult. John Shivers in the 77th year of his age. He was a Native of Virginia. December 19, 1826 Georgia Legislature, Senate bills passed To authorize Springer Gibson of Upson Co. to build a mill dam across Flint River, one end of Fraction No. 25, 16th dist. Houston, and the other to the West bank of Flint River, on the newly acquired territory. Dec. 26, 1826 The Reverend Edmund Talbot is expected to preach at the Courthouse on Sunday next. Tax Collectors Sale Will be sold the first Tuesday in March next, one lot in Marion, where on Robert L.
