FOR SALE. 800 ACRES oak and hickory Land, lying between 1 ½ and 2 ½ miles north of Macon, on Walnut creek, on the road leading from Macon to Clinton. There are about 200 acres cleared, the rest in general is well timbered, and the soil of all well adapted to the growth of Cotton, Corn, Wheat, Oats, &c. There are also a Grist and Saw Mill on a never failing stream, in addition to which a Factory might be erected, and there would be sufficient water to carry all several months, and for the latter, all the year. On the premises was procurred most of the beautiful granite for the erection of the Macon bridge, and there is rock enough on the site ot answer all the purpose of building. Will or northern friends take notice of this, and with our southern ones, come and see for themselves. A great bargain will be given on early application to THOS. M.
