Dekle Funeral services for Mrs. George L. Dekle of 514 13th Avenue, Cordele, who died Thursday at 915 North Ave., the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Walter E. Coney, Sr., will be held today at 3p.m. in the Dekle Funeral Chapel in Cordele. The Rev. John Gibson will officiate. Burial will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery in Crisp Co. A native of Quitman Co., Mrs. Dekle was educated in the Quitman Co. Schools. She was the daughter of the late Callie Methvin and the late Molly Castellow Methvin. She was the widow of George L. Dekle. Mrs. Dekle was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, the Eastern Star and the First Baptist Church of Cordele. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Walter E. Coney, Sr. of Macon and Mrs. Paul McKelvey of Estes Park, Colo., one sister, Mrs. Nim Bell of Ozark, Ala., five grandchildren including Walter E. Coney, Jr. and Dekle Coney, both of Macon: 17 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements. ======================= Macon Telegraph and News. Jan. 29, 1966 David C. Faulkner Graveside services for David Carroll Faulkner, one year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Faulkner of 972 Hill Place, will be held today at 2 pm. in Riverside Cemetery. Dr. Walter L. Moore will officiate. Survivors include parents, one sister, Laura Faulkner of Macon; two brothers, Phillip Faulkner and Greg Faulkner, both of Macon; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis M. Wood of Atlanta and grandfather, T. M. Faulkner of Macon. Memorial Chapel is in charge. ====================== The Macon Telegraph and News July 15, 1956 Harry Honeywell Dublin- July 14- Graveside services for Harry Honeywell, who died yesterday at his home in Atlanta after a long illness, will be held Sunday at 5p.m. at Northview. His wife is the former Miss Ruth Page of Dublin. Oscar T. Owen Barnesville- July 14- Funeral services for Oscar T. Owen, 78, were held Friday at the graveside in the Cemetery with the Rev. J. U. Little officiating. Mr. Owen, a former employee of the William Carter Company here, died in a hospital in Macon Thursday. He was a native of Madison County, but had lived here for the past 29 years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nancy Burnette Owen: five daughters, Mrs. Fred Smith, Mrs. C. S. Simpson, Mrs. Marvin Evans and Mrs. Ronald Chamberlain, all of Barnesville, and Mrs. John Clark of Paducah, Kentucky; a son, J. T. Owen of GRiffin, and five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. =================== The Macon Telegraph and News. July 15, 1956 Mrs. Boza McCarty Unadilla- July 14- Mrs. Boza Downing McCarty of Unadilla died today at her home. A native of Taylor County, she had lived here for about 60 years. She was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, W. B. McCarty, two sons, J. C. McCarty of Cordele and W. F. McCarty of Jackson and six grandchildren, 10 great- grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Sheperd Funeral Home. Mrs. Nancy Kilgo Cordele- July 14- Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Mize Kilgo, 47, who died Friday in a Crisp County hospital after a lenghty illnes, will be held Sunday with Rev. Robert James officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery. A native of Sumter County, she was the daughter of Mrs. Minnie Buchanan Mize and the late J. S. Mize. She had been a resident of Cordele for six years and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Survivors are her husband, Frank A. Kilgo, one daughter, Miss Lydia Kilgo, Cordele, a son. Frank D. Kilgo, Columbus; her mother Mrs. Minnie Maze, Cordele; two grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. J. O. Smith of Jacksonville, Fla. and Mrs. W. P. Cunningham of Brunswick.
