Byron - Robert F. Barbour, 77, of Route 2 died Friday at his residence after a 
brief illness.  Born in Crawford County, he was a farmer and a member of 
Hardison Baptist Church near Byron.  Survivors were his wife, Sara G. Barbour 
of Byron; children William L. Barbour of Byron and James R. Barbour of Fort 
Valley; sisters and brother, Mary Locke, North Palm Beach Garden, Fla., 
Lucille Jarrell of Fort Valley, Ruth Thompson of Centerville and Helen Reverta 
of West Palm Beach, Fla., Fred Barbour of Lizella; five grandchildren; and a 
great grandchild.  Services were at 4 p.m. Sunday in Hardison Babptist Churcn 
near Byron with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Maacon, Christus 
Garden, Lot 131 C # 3. The Rev Chesford Carr officated.  Visitation was 7 to 9 
p.m. in Rooks Funeral Home.
