MACON, GA - Aaron J. Barfield, 82, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2008. 
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 3, 2008 at 11 A.M. in the 
chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial was in Glen Haven Cemetery 
with the Dr. Billy Sharpston officiating. -Mr. Barfield was born in Pulaski, 
County to the late Harold Cleveland and Mattie Bell Barfield. He was preceded 
in death by his wife, Florence Coleman Barfield and a daughter, Betty Sue 
Groves and two brothers and three sisters. He served in the United States Army 
during World War II. Mr. Barfield was retired from Georgia Kraft with 34 years 
of service and was a member of the White Oaks Free Will Baptist Church. -He is 
survived by his children, Delores (Danny) Touchton of Macon, Cleve (Carol) 
Barfield of Macon; son-in-law, Ken Groves of Kathleen, 12 grandchildren, 19 
great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren; brothers, Thomas 
(Doris) Barfield of Eatonton, Daniel (Allie) Barfield of Macon; sisters, Maude 
McKinley of St. Petersburg, FL, Evelyn (Jerald) Sandburg of Olympia WA, and 
Sara (Mutt) Herron of Macon, and several nieces and nephews. -The family will 
greet friends on Sunday, March 2, 2008 from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. at Macon 
Memorial Park Funeral Home. -Donations may be made to White Oaks Free Will 
Baptist Church, Building Fund, 7015 Houston Road, Macon, GA 31216. -Macon 
Memorial Park Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
