Obituary for Mrs. IODA CARR BARNES in the Macon Telegraph, page 9A on January 
15, 1919.

Mrs. Ioda Carr Barnes, aged 44 years, died at her home near Shiloh Church 
Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock.  She was ill ten days of influenza, which 
caused her death.  She was a member of the Ebenezer Methodist Church.  Mrs. 
Barnes was born and reared in Bibb County, and the news of her death is a 
shock to her many friends.  Besides her husband, W.D. barnes, two sons 
survive, Willie A. and Travis.  The funeral services will be held from 
Ebenezer Church this (wednesday ) afternoon at 3 o'clock.  Rev. N. J. Hudson 
will officite.  The interment will be in the church cemetery.

I do not know this family but had a copy of the page and thought I would share 
it since it was an older obituary.
