Death of Mrs. Bell Bennett
Mrs. Bell Bennett of Atlanta, formerly of Marietta, died at the home of her 
son, Mr. Charley Bennett, in Macon, on last Friday afternoon from a stroke 
of paralysis, being the third attack.  Her remains were brought to Marietta 
on last Saturday morning and carried to the residence of her son-in-law, 
Hon. John E. Mozley, where they were kept until Sunday morning and then 
carried to the Trickum graveyard in Cherokee county for interment.  Rev. Mr. 
McClure officiated at the funeral. 

The deceased was the daughter of Mr. Thomas Evans of Woodstock.  Before 
moving to Atlanta she had resided in this place for a number of years. 

She had been a member of the Methodist church for about forty years.  At the 
time of her sudden death she was about 55 years of age. 

She leaves five sons and one daughter, Mr. Charley Bennett of Macon, Mr. 
Henry Lee Bennett of Chattanooga, Mr. Lemuel Bennett of Atlanta, Mr. Cliff 
Bennett of Petersburg, Va., Mr. James Bennett of Charleston, S.C., and Mrs. 
J. E. Mozley of Marietta. 

She was a most estimable lady, and her death is a source of deep regret. 

We tender our sympathy to the bereaved family.
