Blackerby Lillie C. Blackerby of 4150 Lions Place, 91 year old homemaker and great- great-grandmother, died Thursday in a local hospital after an extended illness. Graveside services will be held at 10:30AM Saturday in Macon Memorial Park. Mrs. Blackerby, a native of Covington, Ala., lived in Macon for the past 47 years. She attended Four Square Gospel Church. Survivosr include two sons, Ralph W. Blackerby of Lady Lake, Fla. and Robert Mitchell Blackerby of Zirconia, NC; five daughters, Mary Beasley of St. Petersburg, Fla., Margie McCord, Carrie Beatrice Woodard, and Eleanor Ammos, all of Macon and Dorothy Strole of Fallston, Md.; a sister, Mary Annie Thomas of Montgomery, Ala.; 27 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and 12 great- great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends in Crest Lawn Funeral Home from 7 to 9 tonight amd may be contacted at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Bill McCord, 2476 Dapleton Dr., Macon. Additional Comments: Lillie was born 27 Aug 1896 to Mitchell Coxwell and Mattie Prudent Caton Coxwell. Her husband, Robert Andrew J. Blackerby is buried in Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery in White Oka, Alabama.
