                      Henry Blackwell Rites Thursday
 Funeral services for Henry Grady Blackwell, 67, of 339 Walnut Street, who 
died in a local hospital yesterday after a lengthy illness, will be held at 
3pm Thursday in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary.
 The Rev. T. M. Bailey will officiate and burial will be in the Riverside 
Cemetery.
 Mr. Blackwell, a retired Civil Service Mechanic, was born in Texas, the son 
of Robert F. Blackwell and Mrs. Annie Missouri Hollis Blackwell, and had lived 
in Macon for five years, coming here from Texas. He was a member of the Christ 
Episcopal Church.
 Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Winona T. Bowman, Macon; three 
daughters, Mrs. G. C. Barrow, Han-Kamer, Tex., Mrs. T. V. Adamson, Houston, 
Tex., and Mrs. W. L. Langley, Wichita Falls, Tex.; nine grandchildren; two 
great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Marie Archer, Conroe, Tex.; and several 
nieces and nephews.
