Boring Services for Mrs. Bessie Rooks Boring of Pendleton Homes who died Friday in a local hospital after a longillness, will be held at 4pm today in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary with burial in Ebenezer Church Cemetery. Mrs. Boring, a native of Houston County, had lived in Macon most of her life. She was a member of Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Carrie E. Livingston of Macon; one son, Charles M. Fowler of Macon; two brothers, C. T. Rooks of Macon and Leamon C. Rooks of Jeffersonville; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Rooks Johnson of Macon. Additional Comments: Bessie was born 8 Nov 1891 to Charlie Green Rooks and Carrie Elizabeth Pace Rooks. Her 1st husband was Samuel Mathew Fowler Jr., her 2nd husband was Walter Roy McCoy, and her 3rd husband was William Charles Boring.
