WARNER ROBINS - Ralph Boyd, 79, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2007 in 
Mesa, AZ. Services were held at 10 A.M. Thursday in the chapel of Heritage 
Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation 
was from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Rev. Sydney Odom  
officiated. -Mr. Boyd was born in Roanoke, AL to the late Harvey Aubrey Boyd 
and Mary Elizabeth Ragsdale. He was also preceded in death by his wife, 
Josephine "Jo" Jackson Boyd and a son Stephen Boyd. Mr. Boyd was retired from 
Robins Air Force Base where he was a Branch Chief over the metal bonding shop. 
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the Westside Baptist Church. 
He was a former coach for the football and baseball league with the Warner 
Robins Recreation Dept.. -Survivors include his children & spouse, Derek 
(Karla) Boyd of Mesa, AZ, Ronnie (Carolyn) Bedsole of Deltona, FL, Jackie 
(Jamie) Andrews of Valley, AL, Johnny (Katie) Boyd of Jonesboro, GA, Charlie 
(Lynn) Boyd of Dothan, AL, sisters, Louise Brown of Lanett, AL and Diane 
Castle of Acworth, GA, 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. -Flowers 
will be accepted but those who wish, may make donations to The Gideons 
International at P.O. Box 537, Warner Robins, GA, 31099, in memory of Mr. 
Boyd. -Heritage Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
