She claimed to have been born in 1812. Up to within two weeks of her death she was still able "to get about the place." Her only surviving son is Andrew Bryant, 74 years of age. She leaves nine grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. The negress was born in Coweta county and as a slave was the property of William L. Hogan. With her mother she was sold befoe the war between the states to John A. Nelson, of Macon. Additional Comments: The actual date of death is a "guesstimate."
