Britt Dies At Local Hospital Hoke S. Britt, foreman for the Griffin Construction Company, and resident of the Plaza Hotel, died in a local hospital at 8 p.m. Monday after a brief illness. Mr. Britt was born at Tucker, Ga., June 23, 1907, the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Britt, and had lived there most of his life. He had been working in Macon for the past four months. Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Laurie Mayo; two daughters, Josephine and Patsy Britt, Tucker; two sons, Daniel and Larry Britt, Macon; his parents and two sisters, Mrs. H. A. Langford and Mrs. T. D. Kilpatrick, Tucker, and a brother, J. L. Britt, Atlanta. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Hart's mortuary. Transcriber's Note: Hoke S. Britt was buried at Rehoboth Cemetery, in DeKalb County, Georgia.
