                         Margaret E. Carter
 COMMERCE---Margaret Elizabeth Carter of Route 4 died Monday in a local 
hospital. She was 74.
 Services will be held at 2pm today in the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home. 
Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. The Rev. Jim Jacobs will officiate.
 A Bibb County native, Mrs. Carter lived in Commerce for the past 24 years, 
moving fron Macon. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church and a retired 
employee of Blue Bell.
 Survivors include three sons, Carl William Carter and Robert W. Carter, both 
of Macon and Lamar Carter of Midway; a daughter, Mrs. Willie A. Bone of 
Commerce; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
 The family may be contacted at the residence of Carl Carter, 3816 Log Cabin 
Drive, Macon.

Additional Comments:
Margaret was born 2-14-1914. Her husband was Perue R. Carter.
