                           William Joseph Carter

 William Joseph Carter, 55, of 3330 Shaw Drive died Tuesday in a local hospital.

 Services will be held at 2pm Friday in Hart's Mortuary. Burial will be in 
Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Woodall will officiate.

 A native of Bleckley County, Mr. Carter lived in Macon since 1983, moving from 
Texas. He was a civil service employee at Robins Air Force Base. He was a 
Korean War Army veteran. He attended Forest Hills United Methodist Church.

 Survivors include four daughters, Leys A. Lannen and Kathryn M. White, both of 
Lake Jackson, Texas and Michelle L. Carter and Christie L. Carter, both of 
Angleton, Texas; a sister, Marie C. Williams of Macon; and a grandchild.

 The family may be contacted at the residence.

Additional Comments:
William was born 21 Jun 1933 to John Benny Cater and Fannie Carlton 
Hardie/Hardy Carter. Georgia death certificate #038965.
