Services for Claudis W. Collins were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Houston Heights 
Baptist Church with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.  Mr. Collins, 77 
who was born March 21, 1922 died Sept 12, 1999.  An Army veteran of World War 
ll, was retired from Armstrong World Industries after 32 years.  he was a 
member of Houston Heights Baptist Church, a deacon, Sunday School teacher, 
trustee and treasurer.  He was a member of Rutland Lodge No. 298 F&AM.  
Survivors include his wife, Clyde Collins; children, James Collins of Calhoun 
and Ronnie Collins of Atlanta; sister, Mary Vacula of Macon; three 
grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.   Family received friends from 6 
to 8 p.m. in Crest Lawn Funeral Home and could be contacted at 5847 School 
Road.  Memorials may be made to Vista Hospice Care Foundation, 750 Baconsfield 
Drive, Suite 115, Macon, Ga.  31211.
