CHERRY Jud S. Cherry, aged 56, died late yesterday afternoon at his home, 853 Oak street, following an illness of four months. He lived in Macon all his life, having been born and reared in the house he died in. He has been a truck farmer all his life and for many years was a steward in the Centenary Methodist church. His wife was a Miss Ida Bolinger. Besides his wife he leaves seven daughters, Mrs. E. M. Goldstein, Mrs. G. P. Murrow, Mrs. J. L. Gholson, Miss Drew Cherry, of Macon; Mrs. O. M. Brendle, Pensacola; Mrs. H. A. Joyner, Atlanta, and Mrs. J. R. Taylor, of West Virginia. Also three sisters, Mrs. T. W. Hatchett, Manchester; Mrs. Laura Long, Leesburg, and Mrs, John Tuggle, Stone Mountain. Newspaper clipping most likely posted in Macon Telegraph. Copied exactly as it appears.
