MORTUARY.

Macon, Ga., May 18-
Mrs. Mary R. Davis, widow of the late W. A. Davis, died last night at the 
Williams sanitarium, following an illness of a month with kidney trouble.  Mrs. 
Davis was a native of Laurens county, being born there in 1848.  Previous to 
her marriage she was Miss Mary Summers.  She is survived by her son, Edwin S. 
Davis; and two daughters, Mrs. Patrick H. Gambrell and Mrs. James A. Thomas, 
the former of Macon and the latter of Fort Grebel, R. I.  The funeral was held 
this afternoon from the residence of Mrs. Gambrell and the interment was in 
Rose Hill cemetery
