Johnnie Mae Doke
Johnnie Mae Doke, 89, of 3520 Kenneth Drive died Tuesday at her residence. Born
in Baldwin County, she lived in Macon for most of her life. She was a registered
nurse and a member of Parkway Baptist Church. She was the widow of Lane Doke. 
Survivors: daughter, Virginia Watts of Macon; a grandchild, Sandra Burgamy of
Milledgeville; two great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.  Services:
11 a.m. Thurs in Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street.  Burial Glen Haven
Memorial Gardents.  The Rev. Hubert Hollis and Bill Hammonds will officiate. 
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 tonight in the funeral
home.

Johnnie Mae ( maiden name Jones) Doke , born 19 Aug 1902 in Baldwin County,
Georgia and died 5-26-1992 in Macon, Georgia.
 
Husband  was Harris Lane Doke Sr., born 2 Jun 1900 in Milledgeville, Baldwin
County, Georgia and died 1 Sep 1964 in Macon, Georgia buried in Evergreen
Cemetery in Macon, Georgia.
