Verdie Lou Kirkland Duggan Mar 12, 1934 - 6-12-2007

MACON - Services for Verdie Lou Kirkland Duggan was held at 11A.M. Saturday, 
June 16, 2007 at Porterfield Baptist Church. Rev. Sam Waldron and Rev. Bill 
Hardee officiated. Interment: Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Veterans East 
Section Lot 198 C # 2. -Visitation: Friday, June 15, 2007 at Crest Lawn 
Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. -Verdie Lou Duggan, 73, of Macon, GA, 
passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2007. Daughter of the late William Grover and 
Evie Ellis Kirkland, she was born in Tift County, and had lived in Macon for 
most of her life. Mrs. Duggan was retired from Retail Sales; she was a member 
of Porterfield Baptist Church and member of the Dove Sunday School Class. Mrs. 
Duggan was a volunteer for the Macon Baptist Ministry Center and preceded in 
death by her husband, John Curtis Duggan. -Survivors: daughters, Cathy (Kirt) 
Matthews, Fort Hill, SC; Cindy Duggan, Macon, GA; sons, Johnny (Loretta) 
Duggan, Peoria, AZ; Darrell (Lisa) Duggan, Gray, GA; brothers, Butch Kirkland, 
Macon, GA; Harrell Kirkland, Crystal City, MO; Clarence Kirkland, 
Jeffersonville, GA: grandchildren, Kirsty and Kirt Jr. Matthews, Fort Mill, 
SC; Lucinda, John Austin, Alex, Kimberly Duggan, Peoria, AZ; Darrell-Lee and 
Clay Duggan, Gray, GA. -In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the 
building fund of her son's church: Bradley Baptist Church, P.O. Box 61, Gray,
