A young lady, Miss Sallie Dukes, was killed near Macon Monday morning by the 
accidental discharge of a gun.  The gun fell from a rock, both hammers struck 
the floor and discharged the contents of both barrels, one of which struck Miss 
Dukes in the head killing her instantly.
