Obituary:

MRS. MATTIE EDWARDS.

Services for Mrs. Mattie Lee Edwards, 80, of 568 Heard Ave., who died Thursday 
will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Chapel.  Burial will be in 
Riverside Cemetery.

Mrs. Edwards, a  native of Lamar County had lived in Macon most  of her life.  
She was a member of Mable White Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons Charles A. Edwards,Jr.  and  Robert B. Edwards,  
both of Macon;  two daughters, Mrs. Alline Busbee  and  Mrs Elizabeth 
Whitehead,  both of Macon,  a brother, John A. Lee, of Fort Valley, 13 
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family will be at the residence of Mr. Robert Edwards of 1653 Downing 
Circle.

Memorial Chapel, Funeral Directors has charge of arrangements.
