Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2008 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Rex Odom officiating. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. -Mr. Evans was born in Macon, GA to the late Harold L. and Sarah Elizabeth Dunham Evans. He was preceded in death by a son Brian Stout. Will was a graduate of Willingham High School class of 1967 and Georgia College and State University. Will has been employed as a superintendent with Putzel Electrical Contractors of Macon, Integrated Electrical Services of Houston, TX (IES) and Ace Putzel Electric for thirty nine years. He was on the advisory board with the Georgia Allman Brothers Band Association (GABBA). -He is survived by his wife, Gracie S. Evans of Macon, children, Veronica Stout (Jason) of Humble, TX, Nita Johnson (Steve) of Forsyth, and daughter-in-law, Shannon Stout of Lumberton, TX, six grandsons, Jefferey, Shayne, Wade, Hayden, Taylor, Kyle, two brothers, Harry Evans (Sandra) of Lizella, Pete Evans (Sue) of Macon, two nieces, three nephews and two great nieces, cousin, Eleanor Lawson of New Orleans, LA., and many other relatives, Dunham's family and many friends. -Donations may be made to the "Big House Foundation" c/o Allman Brothers Band Museum, 2321Vineville Ave., Macon, GA 31204 or to the Georgia Children's Museum, 370 Cherry Street, Macon GA 31201 -Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery has charge of the arrangements.
