Floyd Claimed By Death Thomas F. (Tom) Floyd, 73, of 980 Toombs Street, died early yesterday morning in a local hospital following a short illness. Mr. Floyd, a retired farmer, was born in Pulaski County, the son of Arch Floyd and Mrs. Mary Bozeman Floyd. He had lived in Macon since 1927. He was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; three sons, C. L. and Charles F. Floyd, both of Macon and James A. Floyd of Jacksonville, Fla.; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Floyd Thomas of Macon; 10 grandchildren and one brother, W. H. Floyd of Dublin. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Monday in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary. The Rev. O. M. Cates will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers will be J. E. Hamlin, O. F. Clark, W. L. Sanders, Ray Thompson, Albert Camp, and Buck Stringfellow. Additional Comments: Thomas was born 2-28-1882. His wife was Mary J. Bozeman.
