Macon Telepgraph, Macon, GA, February 24-28, 1954
Fomby- 
Entered into rest February 25, 1954, at a local infirmary in the 37th year of 
his age, Mr. Cecil B. Fomby, husband of Mrs. Marion Nix Fomby.  The body was 
taken to Forsyth, GA, where funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 4:00 
o'clock in the afternoon. 
February 28, 1954-Macon-
Funeral services for Fomby were held today in the chapel of Ash-Dillon Funeral 
Home with the Rev A.A. Heath officiating. Burial will be in the Rest Haven 
Cemetery. Surviving, besides his wife (Marian), are a daughter, Miss Bonnie 
Lee Fomby; his mother, Mrs. J.W. Fomby (Trudy); two brothers, James W. Fomby, 
Macon, and Franklin Fomby, Air Force; and four sisters, Mrs. Jimmy Ryan 
(Christine), Forsyth, Mrs. Thomas Jones (Wilma), Forsyth, Mrs. Joe Miller 
(Mary), Tampa, Fla., and Mrs. Bill Pierce (Reba), Washington, D.C.
