Fowler was born abt Aug 1909 and died 8-10-1975 (GA DC # 025899) and is buried at Macon Memorial Park in Bibb County. NOTE--He is listed as age 63 and his SS information indicates Aug 1912 as DOB; however, he is listed on the 1920 Census in Twiggs County as age one (1) and the 1920 Twiggs County census as age eleven (11). From The Macon Telegraph 8-11-1975 Page 4B Charlie Fowler Charlie M. Fowler, 63, of 2160 New Clinton Road, died Sunday in a local hospital after a long illness. Services will be held Tuesday in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. Mr. Fowler was a native of Twiggs County, but had lived in Macon most of his life. He was a retired employee of the Central of Georgia Railroad and a member of Cross Keys United Methodist Church. He also was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers local and a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Cook Fowler of Macon; two nieces, Mrs. Wendy McCoy and Mrs. Deloris Bumgardner, both of Florida; and a nephew, John Stevens of North Carolina. The family requests donations to Cross Keys United Methodust Church or the Heart Fund, in lieu of flowers.
