Valley Monday Mrs. Fanny Gates, 95, a former resident of Macon and the grandmother of Mrs. M. J. Hollis of this city, died yesterday afternoon in Daytona Beach, Fla., it was learned here. Mrs. Gates had lived in Macon for a number of years, but for the past five years had been making her home with another granddaughter, Mrs. Rochelle Crosthwait, in Daytona Beach. She was the widow of F. H. Gates. Among her survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Minnie Weaver, of Jacksonville, Fla., and two sons, R. L. Marchman, Fort Valley, and Frank Jones, Savannah. The body will be brought to Fort Valley, where funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Central time, Monday.
