 -WILLIAMSON - Mr. Everett Cleveland "Ed" Griffin, age 89, of Williamson, 
passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2008. -Mr. Griffin was born in Randolph 
County, Alabama on June 21, 1918 to the late Carless Griffin and the late 
Arrie Heard Griffin. He was also preceded in death by a daughter in law, 
Teresa Pittman Griffin. Mr. Griffin was a Veteran of the United States Air 
Force having served during the World War II. He was a member of Oak Hill 
Baptist Church. Mr. Griffin was the owner and operator of G&H Glass Company. -
Mr. Griffin is survived by his wife of 52 years, Martha B. Griffin; sons and 
daughters-in-law, Jabo and Tam Griffin, Cleve Griffin, Rick and Penny Griffin, 
Johnny and Kim Griffin, Wade and Ivey Griffin; grandchildren, Shane Griffin, 
Stephanie Phillips, Melinda Chambers, Paul Griffin, Curt Griffin, B.J. 
Griffin, Tyler Griffin, Kip Wise, Crissy Griffin, Keaton Wise, Emily Griffin, 
and John Griffin; four great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Sara Dozier, 
Bessie Scharnitzky, Bobbie Chance, and Joyce Wengler; brother-in-law, Bruce 
Broxton; several nieces and nephews; special cousin, Punk Carter. -Funeral 
services for Mr. Ed Griffin will be conducted on Thursday, February 7th, 2008 
at11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Dr. Steve Stewart 
and Reverend Jack Pickle will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood 
Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday evening from 7:00 p.m. 
until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. -Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, 1891 West
