   Irvin C. "Sonny" Grimsley was born 6-10-1930 and died 8-27-1988 (Ga. DC#
032728) and is buried at Macon Memorial Park.

Irvin C. grimsley, 58, of 3893 Spencer Circle died Saturday in a local hospital.
Services were held at 11AM Monday in Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial was in
Macon Memorial Gardens with full military honors. The Rev. Herbert Williams
officiated.
A native of Twiggs County, Mr. Grimsley lived in Macon for the past 17 years. He
was a retired Army master sergeant, a Green Beret and a member of the 101st
Airborne Unit. He was a memebr of Westfield Baptist Church and the church Sunday
School. He was a property supervisor for the Georgia Academy of the Blind.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Grimsley of Macon; a son, Stacey Chip Grimsley
of Macon; two daughters, Tanya Dee Grimsley of Missouri and Deborah Elaine
Crosby of Palm Bay, Fla; a sister, Betty G. Horne of Macon; and a grandchild.
