D. T. GREGORY


D. T. Gregory, a former resident of Dooly County, died at
his home at 15 Randolph Place at 3:45 o'clock yesterday
afternoon.  He had been ill three weeks and pneumonia
developed several days ago,causing his death.


Mr. Gregory had lived in Macon for only three months,
coming here from his home in Dooly county, where he was
engaged in farming.  Surviving are his wife, formerly
Miss Annie Mason, of Dooly county;five daughters and four
sons; Mrs., Irene Patrick, Americus; Louella Rebecca,
Mary Belle, Annie, Ruth,Horace, Thomas, Bishop, Clarence
Gregory, all of Macon; two brothers, C. E. and J. T.
Gregory, of Macon; two sisters, Mrs. Connie Wright, Mrs.
Beulah Joyner, of Macon, and his mother, Mrs. Mandie
Gregory, of Macon.


Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, the hour
to be announced later.
