                   William Hancock Dies At Age 79

 Services for William Leonard Hancock, 79 of 1475 Cardinal Place, who died 
yesterday will be Saturday at 11am in Memorial Chapel.

 Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park.

 Mr. Hancock was a native of Nashville. He attended the Nashville public 
schools. Mr. Hancock was retired from the Bibb Manufacturing Co. and was a 
member of the American Legion. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He was a 
veteran of World War I, having served in the Army.

 Survivors include two sons, Howard L. Hancock and William C. Hancock Sr., both 
of Macon; two grandchildren, William C. Hancock Jr. and Howard Wayne Hancock, 
both of Macon.

Additional Comments:
William was born 12 Nov 1889 to John Durham Hancock and Mary Ann Elizabeth 
Branch Hancock. His wife was Dessie Mae Heath Hancock. Georgia death 
certificate #001709.
