Services for James C. "Doc" Hardy will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Glen Haven 
Memorial Gardens.  Hardy, 89, who died Saturday, Sept 13, 1997 was a lifelong 
resident of Bibb County.   Mr. hardy was the son of the late William H. and 
Sallie H. hardy.  The widower of Sarah Agnes Ross Hardy.  He was a retired 
director of public works for the city of Macon.   He was a member of Second 
Baptist Church.  Survivors are his children, James C. Hardy Jr., of 
Thomasville, Kenneth R. Hardy, Sr., of Cumming; six grandchildren and eleven 
great grand children.    Snows Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Ave, had charge of 
arrangements.
