 -WARNER ROBINS - Penny Harper, 81, passed from this world at home Saturday, 
February 2, 2008. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, 
February 8 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, 701 Carl Vinson Parkway. 
Immediately following the service, Gold Cup Bowling Center will host further 
tribute at 1041 Russell Parkway. -Penny was born in Kansas City, MO to the 
late Leonard Laverne McFadden and Helen Price McFadden. She was well-known, 
respected and loved within the local and state bowling communities, having 
been inducted into the Warner Robins Women's Bowling Association Hall of Fame, 
Georgia Women's Bowling Association Hall of Fame, and Macon Bowling 
Association Hall of Fame, and held honorary membership in the Macon Women's 
Bowling Association Hall of Fame. Penny helped charter the WAR-MAC Junior 
Bowlers' Association and enjoyed a 16-year career with Gold Cup Bowling 
Centers, Inc. -Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Henry A. "Bud" 
Harper, her brother Howard L. "Pat" McFadden (Theresa McFadden), her children 
Catherine Harper (Iver Egland), John Harper, Craig Harper (Tracey Harper), 
Christine Harper Gebhard, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. -
Penny was truly a friend to all who knew her and will be fondly remembered by 
those whose lives she touched. -Memorial contributions may be made to the 
Penny Harper Scholarship Fund for Junior Bowlers, c/o Gold Cup Bowling Center, 
1041 Russell Parkway, Warner Robins, GA 31088. -Heritage Memorial Funeral Home 
has charge of arrangements. Penny Harper
