                 Jacob Heard.
Walden, Feb. 1, -- [Special] -- Last might at a late hour Mr. Jacob Heard died 
at his home neara Walden, Mr. Heard was an old resident of Rutland district, 
having been amoang its earliest settlers.  He was a worthy citizen and a 
gentleman of many sterling traits of chraracter. He has many friends, who will 
miss him very much.  Funeral services will be held tomorrow at Sardis church.

Additional Comments:
Jacob Foreman Heard was born 13 Feb 1815 in South Carolina and died at his 
home near Walden, Rutlant district, Bibb County., Georgia.  He was the son of 
James Heard  &  Nancy Foreman of South Carolina.  Jacob married Mary Elizabeth 
Busbee on 07 July 1839 in Macon, Bibb County, Georgia.  She was born: 17 July 
1822 in Macon, Bibb County, Georgia and died: 06 August 1901 Rutland district, 
Bibb County, Georgia. NOTE: Both buried At Sardis Cemetery located now where 
Grace Primitive Baptist Church is. She was the daughter of James Busbee  &  
Elizabeth Unknown.  James Busbee was born: 1797 in South Carolina and died: 
1847 Rutland district, Bibb County, Georgia. No information found on Elizabeth 
his wife.
