                           Edward Howard
 MACON -- Edward Howard, 77 of 5675 Ocmulgee East Blvd., died Thursday in a 
local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3pm Saturday at Shurlington 
Baptist Church with interment in Macon Memorial Park. Rev. Darrell Watson and 
Rev. Auburn C. Davis will officiate. The family will meet friends from 7 to 9pm 
Friday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue. Memorial contributions made 
be made to the building fund, Possessing The Promise, Shurlington Baptist 
Church, 2270 Shurling Drive, Macon, Ga. 31211. Mr. Howard, widower of Reba 
Crumley Howard, was born in Eastman, Ga., the son of the late Archie and 
Elizabeth Peacock Howard. He was a veteran of the US Navy and the US Marine 
Corps serving during World War II in Okinawa as a Medic. Mr. Howard was an Auto 
Broker and was formerly a member of the Middle Georgia Antique Car Club. Mr. 
Howard was a member of Shurlington Baptist Church.
 Survivors include three daughters, Marsha H. Avant, Gray, Merrilyn H. Kelly, 
Warner Robins, and Malicia H. Wilson, Texas; a son, David Howard, Macon; 
sister, Lucille Howard, Eastman; grandchildren, Jennifer Kelly and Michelle 
Kelly, Warner Robins, Dustin Avant and Dylan Avant, Gray, and Courtney Wilson, 
Joshua Wilson, and Gabriel Wilson, Texas.
 Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue, has charge of arrangements.

Additional Comments:
Edward was born 21 Sep 1923. His parents are buried in Poplar Springs Baptist 
Church Cemetery in Dodge County.
