Addie C. Johnson, 85, of Apt 906, St Pauls Apartments, died Tuesday.  Born in 
Bacon County, she had lived in Macon 55 years.  She was the daughter of the 
late James A. and Laura V. Thompson.  She was the widow of Joseph G. Johnson 
and a homemaker, member of Brewton Baptist Church in Dublin.  Survivors: her 
children: Clinton Carroll and Mattie Larson, both of Macon, Allen D. Carroll 
and Christine Etheridge, both of Byron, Morris L. Carroll and Ovie J. Carroll, 
both of Orlando Florida and Virginia Brinkley of Jamestown, N. C.; 
stepchildren, Runell Kite and J. W. Johnson, both of Dublin; and several 
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.   Servises were at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 
4, 1995 in Crestlawn Funeral Home with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.  
The Rev. Kelly Maddox officiated.  Visitation was from 7 to 9 in the funeral 
home.  Family could be contacted at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. A. D. 
Carroll, 423 Shawnee Circle, Byron.
